Personal Ganja Consumption Review 2021

2021 was a reasonably good year from a cannabis and sustainability perspective. B2020B1, the offspring of B2020B, the hemp like variety of the plant, sprouted in Dec 2020, It provided me with a small, but steady supply of herb through the year, ensuring that I had enough dry leaf to smoke 2-3 small joints, almost every day through the year. Even though the plant did not go on to produce the classical flowering at the end of the lifecycle for a harvest, it flowered almost constantly from the 4th month or so and continued to do so throughout the year.

There was no other source of cannabis through the year, as has been the case for a couple of years now, at least till the last week of December, when I was lucky to access some hash. The hash was sufficient for a couple of smokes a day for about 10 days.

Beedi smoking remains at a constant, averaging 4-5 beedis a day. Alcohol consumption also remained at about a beer a fortnight, barring the handful of instances of social drinking when a few beers, or shots of rum or whisky were consumed. There were also about half a dozen instances of wine drinking, at about half a bottle at each instance.
